General Information & Marina Services
Chaffers Marina is an internationally classed floating marina with a prime location adjacent to Te PapaMuseum in Wellington’s inner harbor. Completed in 1993 it offers facilities and services to both visiting vessels and private berth owners. The marina is protected by a floating breakwater and is attached to the ClydeQuayWharf on which is the Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT).
The deep water site offers large berths and a comprehensive range of facilities and amenities. Numerous bars, cafes and restaurants as well as medical and commercial services are all with in easy reach. The OPT local marine services with a boat builder, rigger, sailmaker and chandlery on site. Other trades are available nearby, and nobile engineers, painters, etc are available.
